Key Responsibilities and Skill Set

  • Meeting and greeting guests,
  • Taking and handling reservations on the job and by phone,
  • Seating guests and ensuring guest satisfaction,
  • Problem solving skills to ensure all tables are filled,
  • Cash and credit card handling,
  • Acting as Host to guests,
  • Handling complaints,
  • Standard office and administration duties,
  • Social networking site updates including responses to posts,
  • Willingness to help in other areas if needed, when needed,

Skill Set Required:

  • Experience in customer service,
  • Proactive and ability to work independently,
  • College/University degree from an accredited school,
  • Ability to problem solve and ensure all restaurant tables are filled,
  • Self motivated and ability to work without constant supervision,
  • An ability to foster team spirit with a positive attitude,
  • A high standard of work ethic and attention to detail,
  • Flexible to work various shifts including public holidays and weekends,
  • Business level Mandarin speaking ability preferred,
  • Business level Japanese speaking ability preferred,
