Win a luxury ski holiday in Niseko Village

STANDARD TERMS

1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.

WHO CAN ENTER

2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to those over the age of 18 years within the specified time period.

2.2. Employees, franchisees and their immediate families of Ski Asia and Niseko Village or any related agencies, are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether by natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, or step-sister.

PROMOTION PERIOD  & ENTRY 

3.1 The competition commences on 01/12/2022 at 12:00 PM AEST and closes 03/02/2023 at 11:45 PM AEST (“the Competition Period”).

To enter, each Eligible Entrant must, during the Promotional Period:

3.2 complete the entry form by providing the entrant’s first, email address, and answer to the question “What is Niseko Village famous for?”

3.3 agree that their entry may be used by the promoters for promotional purposes

3.4 agree to receive marketing communications from the promoters Ski Asia and Niseko Village which may be unsubscribed at any point

3.5 Entries which in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter:

1. are received outside the Promotional Period;
2. contain defamatory, offensive or inappropriate content or infringe intellectual property rights;
3. are incomplete or indecipherable; or
4. do not otherwise comply with these terms,

will be invalid and ineligible for any prize.

PRIZES

4.1 One winner will be chosen in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. Random drawing will be conducted on or about February 6 2023 by a representative from Ski Asia.

Prize for two people:

• 4 nights in 1 bedroom apartment suite at Hinode Hills, Niseko Village
• Niseko Village lift pass for 3 days
• Ski hire for 3 days
• Daily breakfast

Total prize value up to JPY455,000
The prize must be redeemed between 1-16 December 2023, or between March 15 and the conclusion of the 23/24 Niseko Village winter season.

4.2 Prize cannot be exchanged or refunded in any way by the winner.

4.3 This giveaway voucher is valid for the 23/24 season and can only be used for a single booking and one voucher cannot be split.

4.4 The booking has to be made in advance and it is subject to the availability.

4.5 Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of Winner.

UNCLAIMED PRIZE

Any prizes that remain unclaimed for 1 week after the end of the promotion period will be awarded to another entrant, also drawn at random from all valid entries.

If required, this will occur on 13/02/2023 at 12pm.

SELECTION OF PRIZE WINNERS

5.1 Each entrant who has entered the competition over the Competition Period and registered all details in accordance with Clause 3 will be entered into the prize pool.

5.2 The winner will be selected by the Promoters on 06/02/2023 at 12:00PM AEST at Ski Asia Premises.

5.3 The winner of the competition, as determined by the Promoters, agrees to provide proof of age to Ski Asia and Niseko Village if deemed necessary by the Promoters.

5.4 The winner will be notified by email and will be announced on Ski Asia social media platforms from 06/02/2023 for 28 days – or at such time that a winner has been determined.  The winner may also be published on skiasia.com and Niseko Village digital platforms.

5.5 The Promoter’s decision is final.

5.6 If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter may, in its sole discretion, determine the identity of the entrant.

NO LIABILITY

6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoters may in their absolute discretion cancel the competition or other as subject to any State Legislation.

6.2 The Promoters and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.

6.3 The Promoters and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:

6.3.1 during the draw;

6.3.2 Whilst undertaking any travel won connected with their entry into the draw; or

6.3.3 in the participation in any prize

6.3.4 as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;

6.3.5 due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;

6.3.6 due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control.

6.4 The Promoters and its affiliates assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserve the right to take any action that may be available.

6.5 If, for any reason, this competition is not capable of being conducted as planned, including, but not limited, due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter’s which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter’s reserve the right, at their discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or any other dishonest act, may take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to State legislation.

MISCELLANEOUS

7.1 Nothing in these terms limits, excludes or modifies (or purports to do so) any non-excludable guarantees or warranties under consumer law (Non-Excludable Guarantees).

PRIVACY

The details contained in your entry are protected by security safeguards as detailed in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. The personal information collected as part of the entry is collected to enable identification of the winner and for future marketing and promotional purposes. Your personal information will only be disclosed to the Promoters and its related bodies corporate for these purposes.

GIVEAWAY RULES

By submitting an entry to the Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”), you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Ski Asia, and that you satisfy all eligibility requirements.

The competition is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law. No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.
