Two elite ski instructors take three days off to ski Kiroro, Bankei and Rusutsu
Joshua Duncan-Smith and Harry McFadden might not be household names in the ski world, but in ski instructing circles they are high respected – both accomplished athletes and representatives of the New Zealand Snowsports Instructors Alliance (NZSIA) at the 2019 Interski in Pamporovo.
For the 2018/19 season, the duo were based in Niseko, Hokkaido, and decided to take three days off to explore other resorts in the area: Kiroro, Sapporo Bankei and Rusutsu.
You won’t find big drops, flips or rails in the clip, but you will see good hard skiing by some of the best technical skiers going around. The edit also shows off the light, dry snow that this area is known for.
